Having committed to attend the UYO weekend, I found myself, a 37-year-old business owner, sitting anxiously among 5 young adults waiting for this thing to start. Young, being early 20's. My only thoughts at the time, "what have I gotten myself into and why I didn't have time for it." I decided to just do it. Looking back, all I or anyone taking UYO has to do is - show up.
I experienced a full weekend of true openness, a very uncommon characteristic in our society, with everyone. All of us. I discovered we shared more similarities than differences.
